We’re proud to share with you a new cinematic experience in pickleball: Where Pros Are Made. This POV journey takes you from one person’s first game at The Picklr to their first tournament and podium. It’s a journey many pickleballers are chasing, and one we’re proud to support.

In the coming weeks, we’ll also take you into the lives of three players who’ve made professional pickleball their life’s quest with a docu-series called The Path to Pro.

How Pickleball Took the Nation By Storm

So, how did pickleball go from a backyard game to a phenomenon? Younger generations gravitated to the sport for its social benefits and soon realized its untapped potential for high-level competition. With their help, pickleball has become mainstream, boasting a pro circuit and more active players than tennis and golf. Junior athletes are now pursuing pro pickleball in favor of traditional sports. At The Picklr, we’ve created a path for every player to reach their pro potential.

What Sets The Picklr Apart in Developing Pros

We want you to feel like a pro when you walk into our indoor pickleball facilities. We black out our walls and add spotlights to provide premium visibility. We add fencing and wood seating around every court. We also install custom sound baffling so you can hear the score, your partner, and the trash talk. The Picklr is a premium haven for the nation’s fastest-growing sport. Thanks to our the picklr Unlimited Membership, every member is treated like a pro with the access and tools to train and play daily. Junior athletes start with our Junior Academy program, which takes players from 1.0 beginners to 5.0 amateur pros and progresses to our Adult membership, which provides four free monthly clinics. We even give you unlimited access to leagues and tournaments, which we host monthly. And then there’s the state-of-the-art technology, from ball machines to AI coaching tools, which we plan to announce soon.

The path to pro is built into The Picklr membership so that every member can make limitless progress. We realize some of our most loyal members are here only for competitive fun. We’re still honored they play in our clubs, and we understand why they’re here.

Because we’re all about pickleball without gimmicks. You can go to that one club for dining and pickleball. You can go to that other club and pay a drop-in fee every time. Athletes come to The Picklr because they’re obsessed with this sport and our Unlimited offering.

For every pickleballer, our membership and facility deliver. For the player who can’t stop playing. For the player who dreams about drop shots. For the player drilling day in and day out to reach 5.0. The Picklr is home. If pickleball has taken over your life, welcome to the club. Welcome to Where Pros Are Made.
